Silly boy...

I was sitting on the deck singing songs with the kids.
I know it's early but after our usual songs I started Rudolph the red nose reindeer.
When I got to the
(all the other reindeer use to laugh and call him names they wouldn't let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games)
Brayden stopped me and said I wouldn't call him names and I would let him play games with me.
He seemed pretty upset about it.

We were talking about what kind of animals we would want to be. Brendan said a cat, and he would be nice to all the people. I said I would be a bird so I could fly around and be free.
Brayden said JD I will be a momma bird and you can stay in my nest. I was telling him how sweet and thoughtful that was when Maddy walked up and said" I'll be a bird in your nest to!
Brayden said "No Maddy you just go be free bird".
Devyn said I'll be the Daddy bird.
Brayden yelled at her and said "no! I'm the Momma bird"
Devyn asked can I be a sister bird?
Brayden said "not in my nest".

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Devyn and Maddy want to grow up to be Princesses. And just why not !

Brayden wants to be a fireman or a dinosaur " a really big dinosaur"

Colton wants to be a cow milker. He knows the hand movements already so I guess that's a done deal.

Brendan wants to be a Monster truck driver ( I'm so not surprised)

Dylan wants to put water on fires or be a dinosaur fighter.

I've asked kids this question for years girls use to say" a mommy" now they skip straight to a princes.It took most of us years to reach that status. The boys use to pick what their dads did " I'm pretty sure Coltons dad doesn't milk cows".
And Brendan and Colton agree I'll be an astronaut. ( we are studying jobs and what you need for them)
Dylan let me know I'll need a helmet and a flag for my new job.

The kids built a huge pile of sand and said it was their volcano.So I went in side and got vinegar and baking soda hid a cup in the top.Mason was suppose to video tape it but when we watched it later mason had cut it off instead of on.
After the volcano Maddy couldn't get her feet in on the destruction.But she's learning.
Mitchell and Mason, their idea of keeping their hands to them self.

I went in and got my camera the pic. looks blurred because coming out of a cool house and it was so hot my camera fogged up. I tried to go with her... to the beach.... she'd left with out me.
